“The path isn’t always clear, but it becomes yours the moment you walk it.” — somewhere between a FileMaker script and a Neapolitan alley

There’s something about walking the streets of a place that changes everything.

We had the map.
We had the vision.
But Monday, we had the air and the sea of Naples.

I was there with Tiziana — my friend and colleague, someone who’s been by my side in all the FileMaker Weeks — and with Mariangela from Keeneight, our energetic co-host who somehow knows every hidden corner of this city.

We weren’t tourists. We were explorers.
With espresso instead of compasses. And sfogliatelle instead of rations.

📍 We walked the Riviera di Chiaia, bathed in light and stories.
☕ We tasted coffee where the locals pause, not rush.

🍰 We had sfogliatelle that rewired our brains (sorry, Claris Connect, you’ve been out-automated).
🍕 We folded pizza as if they were plot twists.
🔥 We devoured montanare that challenged every data model of what “fried” should mean.
🍈 And y

es, there was meloncello. It was not optional.

🏛️ We visited the venue — not the most majestic palace we’ve ever seen, but by far the most generous in light, space, and possibility.

We pictured people moving from

Port to Port. We imagined laughter mixing with queries, diagrams floating next to music. And maybe someone finding an answer not in a script, but in a conversation.

This year, our Secrets of the FileMaker Seas event is more than a gathering.
It’s a deep dive into navigating complexity — with FileMaker as your vessel.
We’re not just charting a course.
We’re helping people find their own route through integrations, automation, UX, strategy… and the chaos of real-world projects.

No, we didn’t pick a hotel. It’s October, high season.
But this event doesn’t need one central place to sleep — it needs one central place to wake up.
And that, we’ve found.

And as we stood on the terrace, with the sea on one side and the city on the other, I felt the usual tangle of certainty and uncertainty.
The thrill of knowing we’re building something that can’t be templated.

The Naples FileMaker Week won’t be crafted in slides or slogan

s.
It’s being written with footsteps, laughter, wrong turns, and aha moments.
It’s the kind of FileMaker experience I’ve always wanted to live — and now I get to share it.

And we’re almost ready to invite you in.
